If you're new to work at home sales you may find that it may take a modest investment to make your home ready for your new work at home sales job. Each work at home sales job is different and your employer may have his/her own preferences about what you will need to have in order to work at home in your sales job, but as a general rule the following items will be required:

• Clear phone line with no background noise in your home
  
• Voicemail connected to phone line
  
• Cell phone or pager
  
• If internet is used, dedicated/second phone line may be required.
  
• PC with High speed internet access
  
• Fax machine
  
• Laptop may be required for field demonstrations
  
• An email account
  
• 800 Number may be required for customers to be able to reach you toll-free. (Check with your employer to see who will pay toll charges.)
